Biography
Dean Radin, Ph.D., is an American parapsychologist and consciousness researcher, born around the mid-1950s, serving as Chief Scientist at the Institute of Noetic Sciences (IONS), founded by Apollo 14 astronaut Edgar Mitchell. He earned an MS in electrical engineering and a PhD in psychology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Prior to IONS in 2001, Radin held positions at AT&T Bell Labs, Princeton University, University of Edinburgh, and SRI International, institutions with histories in advanced research including remote viewing programs linked to government psi efforts. Author of over 125 peer-reviewed articles, dozens of book chapters, and bestsellers like 'The Conscious Universe' (1997), 'Entangled Minds' (2006), 'Supernormal' (2013), and 'Real Magic' (2018), his work employs rigorous statistical meta-analyses to validate psi phenomena such as telepathy, clairvoyance, and psychokinesis.
