Julia Mossbridge
Biography
Julia Mossbridge is an American neuroscientist and researcher specializing in unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP), also known as UFOs. She serves as founder and board chair of The Institute for Love and Time (TILT), a member of the University of San Diego Department of Physics and Biophysics, and a fellow at the Institute of Noetic Sciences. Previously, she was founding executive director of TILT and a visiting scholar in psychology at Northwestern University. In UAP research, Mossbridge attended the May 1 congressional hearing on UAPs and commented skeptically on the 2024 Colombian 'Buga sphere,' describing it as likely an art project while urging rigorous vetting via groups like the Galileo Project and Scientific Coalition for UAP Studies. She frames UAP as part of humanity confronting its limitations, noting, 'We’re learning that we don’t understand what’s in our skies.' Her work also explores precognition and consciousness at the edges of science.
